Argonaut Hotel

This is a great, soldi hotel in a great location. The service is top notch. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. The entire staff is amazing, unfortunately I am terrible at remembering names, otherwise I would list all the great people who made my visit so enjoyable. The front desk staff was second to none; the valet was great. He was courteous and effiecent. I do remember one person, the concierge, Joana., She went above and beyond and gave us great advice and help. I want to thank the entire staff for all they did. My visit was unforgettable, and we will be sure to stay again when we visit the city.

We had a great time staying at the Argonaut Hotel. Loved the hotel built inside a historic red brick building. I think someone said it was a factory when it was built in the early 1900’s. Everything was clean and the staff was very professional and friendly! One employee Enrique went out of his way to make us feel welcome! He gave us great advice of what to do in walking distance of the hotel. We loved the interior decorating of this hotel as well. There also is a nice museum and winery attached to the building. It’s at the perfect location by the fishermen’s wharf. We will definitely stay here the next time we return.

The Argonaut is awesome! Every single member of the staff team was friendly, helpful, and professional. The location is great and the hotel is unique, memorable, and fun. The rooms and facilities are clean, fresh, and in good condition. I can't wait to come back and stay again. Thank you!

We stayed at the Argonaut during the week of Christmas, so it was our home away from home for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We stayed in one of the corner, city view suites. It was a very spacious suite with plenty of window space. The bedroom was good size with a comfy king bed. The bathroom was very clean and spacious, as well. Lots of space for a long stay. The main area was used as a 2nd bedroom. Also very spacious and the dining table came in very handy several times during our stay. The closet was ample with loads of hangers. The room contained a coffee machine, an espresso machine, and a bar with for pay spirits and snacks. There were also sodas and beers for pay in the refrigerator. My favorite aspect of the room was the window views. I really enjoyed having morning coffee while gazing and listening to the rain and activity below. The hotel itself definitely gives the maritime vibe. The decor, although inclusive of Christmas for the time of year, was very sea oriented. It was a nice, unique touch. The lobby area downstairs had numerous seats and deck chairs for lounging. The fireplace was crackling, and two nights the staff prepared and served hot chocolate, cookies, and smores in the lobby. The staff was on point! Shout out to Johanna, Issac, Coco, Martin, and Steven! They made our stay just that much more special and comfortable due to their friendly personalities, willingness to help, and fantastic attitudes! Another exceptional aspect of the Argonaut is its location. We were within walking distance to the Wharf, Ghirardelli, the bay shoreline, North Beach, the trolley and street cars, and many shops and local restaurants. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our stay at the Argonaut. It was a great spot to spend Chistmas week. If we return, we will strongly consider another stay.

This was a fantastic hotel to stay in for a weekend trip we took to San Francisco. Not only is the location ideal—walking distance to everything and right across the street from the Powell/Hyde trolley car—the Blue Mermaid restaurant was delicious with amazing chowders, and the room—we had a bay view—was spacious and clean with the most comfortable beds and pillows you will ever sleep on. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would stay there again no doubt.

Absolutely the best hotel on the bay in San Francisco area. From the service, to the location, to the rooms EVERYTHING was top notch! The front desk attendants were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Also, the hotel's location is walking distance to Pier 39, BigBus hop on, hop off centers, boat tours, and fabulous restaurants. Anyone who chooses this hotel will not be disappointed. This will be my go to hotel from now on. THE ARGONAUT HOTEL ROCKS!!!

The location of the hotel is excellent for tourists as everything is close. The room is spacious with decent sized beds. There are two complementary bottles of water and a little coffee machine in the room. Staff members are friendly and nice.

We stayed 4 nights there and it was great. The location is good and the hotel is very nice and the decor was great! Every person at the hotel from the front desk, wait staff, maid service and doorman/valet was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel! We would definitely stay here again.
